Way back in February, we were having some beautiful weather, and the kids were bored. In my book, those two just don’t go together. (Can I be bored on a beautiful day! Please!!)
So, as it goes around here when kids start whining about boredom, I came up with something for them to do. Scrub winter scum off the deck. A bucket full of warm, soapy water and a few scrubbing instruments and ta-da! Throw in one random little yellow teacup, beautiful spring blooms, and a sun-bathing dog for a perfect childhood day! They had so much fun I had to call it quits after a couple hours because I didn’t want to make anymore soapy water.
Mission accomplished! Boredom gone, beautiful day enjoyed.
