Sunday drive

Sometimes it’s just time for a good old-fashioned Sunday drive.  On Father’s Day, we talked about all the options of things to do, and ultimately it came down to exploring with Dad and eating pizza.  So that’s what we did.

We took a road we hadn’t explored yet that runs alongside a beautiful river.  The destination was a very tall bridge everyone’s told us about.  Unfortunately, the wildlife wasn’t out, the drive was a lot longer than anticipated, and the potholes were large.  Thankfully,  we had fun together anyway, and found a rocky beach to get out and take a breather on.  Pizza topped it all off rather nicely.   Happy Father’s Day, my Love!

The “new” family carriage. Yep, we’re a mini-van family now.

Winding up for a big throw!
